“I started my journey learning Sign Language back in Italy (the country of my origin). I had Deaf friends there and they taught me everything about Italian Sign Language (and Sign Language in general) and I was heavily involved with the Deaf community on a daily basis.
Then, when I moved back in the UK in 2015, on every occasion of meeting a Deaf person, I would approach and explain that I learnt Sign Language in Italy and asked how to sign a specific word in BSL.
I soon realised my passion for Sign Language and my desire to support the Deaf community didn’t change, so I started to volunteer on a daily basis with the local Deaf community and, with time, I managed to get BSL qualifications.
2020 was a pivotal year for me as I started working as a BSL Communication Support Worker (CSW) and been doing this since then.
My deep love for Deaf people and the Deaf community prompted me to opening my own business where I can do what I love the most: supporting Deaf people and that’s when, in October 2023, after over 10 years after my first encounter with Sign Language, the beginning of this new fantastic chapter of my life has begun and you are all welcome to be a part of it.”
